The following organizations are those that USACYC feels are strong allies in the work to build the #coopyouth movement. At present, we meet on a quarterly basis with representatives from some of these organizations to share news and build trust. Many of our programs have constituent overlap, and we look forward to one day soon exploring opportunities to collaborate on a project or collective our costs to maximize our impact!




CoFED brings tools and trainings to campus communities to create strong cooperatively-run food businesses. CoFED engages with a dynamic network to promote thriving, equitable, and resilient local economies.

The Cooperative Trust



The Cooperative Trust is a group of young people working in credit unions. Founded in 2010, the Trust connects and enables those fighting for the future of socially-responsible finance.

The Electric Cooperative Youth Tour



The Electric Cooperative Youth Tour has brought high school students to Washington, D.C. every June since the late 1950s. Students apply and are selected for this program by their local electric cooperative. The ECYT believe that students should see their nation’s capital up close, learn about the political process and interact with their elected officials.

The North American Students of Cooperation



NASCO family [of associations] organizes and educates affordable group equity co-ops and their members for the purpose of promoting a community oriented cooperative movement.

The National Farmers Union Youth & Young Adult


The National Farmers Union Youth & Young Adult is a program which includes the National Youth Advisory Council – a group elected each year by their peers during the NFU All-States Leadership Camp to representing thousands of Farmers Union youth across the country, the National College Conference on Cooperatives, and several state cooperative camps.
